Note: memcard is looking to work fine in both direction on my side.īefore starting any game, you should consider backup all '.srm' files located in '/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx'. When running a game from Retroarch, each game have its own memcard file, this is not the case with PCSX-ReARMed.īasically it will create a symlink from '/opt/retropie/configs/psx/pcsx/memcards/card1.mcd' to '/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/GAME.srm' with various check. I have make a program to keep compatibility between Retroarch memcard and PCSX-ReARMed memcard. Note: On multi disk games, each CD have its own save state. Load the game on PCSX-ReARMed, load the save state and save it just after. Copy files in '/opt/retropie/configs/psx/pcsx/sstates' and rename 'Parasite Eve 1.state' to PCSX-ReARMed save state filename (PE-FR-CD1-PEFRCD1.000).
Recover RetroArch save state you want to use (Parasite Eve 1.state) from '/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx'. Load a game on PCSX-ReARMed and make a save state, close the emulator. If you want to try (filename given for example) : PCSX-ReARMed save state are far lighter than Retroarch one. Take what I am going to say with caution, this can destroy your progress : you can use Retroarch save state on PCSX-ReARMed but reverse not work. Quick note : I am not sure compressed PBP files work with RetroArch. You may not need to do the whole process, I personally stop after convert step and this work fine. You can play multi disk game by converting them in PBP format using PSX2PSP : It helped me to fix my network issue. It look like that there is not fully support m3u when PCSX-ReARMed is running as standalone. Hi Ashwinpatel, please follow Jazzband's suggestion to downgrade the network/NIC's firmware, using your cellphone hotspot to download. Tried connecting through the phone hotspot and it connects perfectly fine. I even tried using the privacy switch to disable and re enable it with a restart, but no luck it won't connect my WiFi.
#Converted pbp file not working in psxe password#
It keeps asking for password authentication. I tried deleting the WiFi connection and adding it again but no luck. This morning when I turned on the laptop it won't connect to WiFi. I just got my PBP delivered yesterday, everything went fine from booting and latest updates from pacman.

The network adapter firmware is now shown as available for update in Pacman, I just simply ignores it. tar.xz file directly in the download, no need to use commands in terminal. Thanks Jazzband, I confirm that after downgrading the firmware package and performing a reboot, 5Ghz network started to show again and I was able to connect to it successfully. You could also try to downgrade this package, there's a link for version 2020.01 here (wish I saw this post before reinstalling os!): What solved it for me was reinstalling Manjaro 20.04 and ignoring updates for the ap6256-firmware package to make sure I stay on ap6256-firmware version 2020.01.
